This year marks a major milestone for Soccer World: 25 years of serving the soccer community. What began as a passion for the beautiful game has grown into a trusted destination for players, fans, and clubs across Canada. As we celebrate this anniversary, we’re taking a moment to reflect on our journey, our growth, and the exciting momentum we’ve built, especially over the past year.
From Humble Beginnings to a Community Staple
For a quarter of a century, Soccer World has been driven by one simple idea: To make every experience with the beautiful game a positive one. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of supporting grassroots players, competitive athletes, weekend warriors, and lifelong fans.
Our long-standing Oakville location laid the foundation for everything we are today. It became more than just a store. It became a hub for the local soccer community, built on trust, consistency, and relationships that span generations.
Six Years of Teamwear Growth & Club Partnerships
One of the most meaningful evolutions in our journey has been the growth of our teamwear business. Just six years ago, Soccer World had no teamwear program. Today, we proudly partner with over 40 local clubs, providing official uniforms and apparel for thousands of young players, coaches, and teams.
These partnerships go beyond kits and crests. They represent our commitment to grassroots soccer and to supporting clubs that are building the future of the game in their communities. Seeing kids and coaches take the field wearing Soccer World supported gear is something we’re incredibly proud of.
2025: A Breakthrough Year of Growth
While every year has brought progress, the past year has been truly transformative for Soccer World.
This year saw Soccer World expand into two new cities:
- London, Ontario – Bringing our curated selection and in-store expertise to a new and growing soccer market.
- Toronto, Ontario – A major step forward, placing Soccer World at the heart of one of Canada’s most vibrant soccer communities.
These openings, alongside our established Oakville store, represent a significant evolution of our brand. From a single-location specialty shop to a multi-city soccer destination.
